Launch Financial Case Study

The Challenge

Finance Properties helps real estate investors get loans for rental properties. They run ads on Google to find real estate investors who are looking for loans and then they need them to fill out a form or call a number on the website.

The main problem is that their site did not convey credibility.

They were using a single landing page that was not connected to a larger site where people could get more information. They had stock images and some generic text that didn’t stand out.

The Solution

I built a full site that has all the information an investor might want to see. There is a page that lists all the employees with headshots, there is a blog, there are pages that explain all the different financial products in detail etc.

I created sections on the home page that address the main concerns of their customers. I replaced the stock images with custom designed images.

I added the standard navigational features in the header and footer so it looks like a professional site. They also rebranded the name to Launch Financial.

Key Tactics

  • Going from a landing page to a full site – If you sell a product that is already well know and your brand is well known then a landing page that forces users to a lead form without letting them navigate to other pages can work. Car insurance is a good example. Everybody already knows what it is and they know the major brands. For most companies that does not work. Most companies need to earn trust with visitors by showing them all the information they might want in a high credibility way.
  • No more stock images – Stock images work best when they don’t look like stock images. Custom image development can get expensive, but a good designer should at least find image that don’t look stock.
  • Identify and address main customer needs – The previous site provided some good information, but it didn’t identify the top concerns and address them one by one.
